Incredible Years Programmes
Incredible Years Programmes are designed to be delivered with two group leaders facilitating each session. Programmes have a weekly duration of 2 hours, however, time needs to be allocated for review, planning and preparation, evaluation and follow up with participants between sessions. Taking this into account the time required to deliver each group is approximately 8 – 12 hours per week for a group leaders first group. The time allowed for group delivery will reduce to 4-6 hours per week for more experienced group leaders although this will vary based on the group and agency logistics. The time required to deliver IYrs for different cultural groups increases significantly, particularly when incorporating tikanga and engagement requirements.
