| Service Provided: |
Assessment and treatment for children and adolescents with moderate to severe psychiatric illness. We work in conjunction with General Practitioners and other agencies in the community. We liaise and refer to appropriate agencies with client and family/whanau consent. |
| Eligibility of Service: |
Children/youth aged between 0-15 of age (inclusive) and/ or 16-19 of age if still at school or dependent on parents/caregivers. |
| Referral Process: |
General Practitioners and Paediatricians can refer patients. Referrals are accepted by the following groups with General Practitioner approval: community agencies, school guidance counsellors and principals, Child Youth and Family, other hospital departments, Special Education Service. Written/verbal referrals are accepted. |
